A bit of catch-up (no. not ketchup!)

I hate to admit it, but my meals have been really boring and really lazy this summer. Lack of motivation? A busy schedule? Who knows, but I should still be putting in a bit more effort, especially since I'll get even busier once school starts.

Here are some of the more interesting meals I've been making lately, as well as a product review:

I cooked up a simple stir-fry, and wrapped it up in a sheet of nori. mmm!
I should have double-wrapped it, though, since the nori got kinda soggy real quickly. oh well, it still tasted great!

My mom recently bought some 'It's all good Veggie Chicken Breasts". I'm usually not a big fan of the fake meats, mostly because they taste so... real, but I had to try these since she had gotten them just for me.

I must say, while a bit salty for my tastes, these were really good! I sliced some up and grilled it to put in a deliciously summery salad.
In fact, my mom fed some of this product to my sisters & one of my sister's friends, without telling them it wasn't a real dead chicken. It got rave reviews, and the diners still don't know that they were eating 'veggie chicken breast'.

Out of 10, I'd have to rate this at 8.5. It's not something I would eat everyday, but it's dang good.

On another note, here's my new lunchbox!
(in case you can't read that, it says 'CHORUS CLUB- If you like song, join us please, let's sing together)

I got it for 2.50$ at Heritage Days. Unfortunately, it's a bit too shallow to fit most of our little containers inside. I can deal with that though, since those singing fruit are just too cute!

Oh I just love the bento box!

And I wish they sold those chickn cutlets in the US; they look quite interesting.

Don't worry; I've been lazy this summer too!

Cute box! I miss lunch boxes. Now I have one of those stupid grown up thermal bags. I need to get a cool lunch box again.
