I need a nap :)

Oh man, life has been crazy lately. School work is getting really insane, we got our report cards a few days ago, basketball tryouts start tomorrow, I'm a silly teenaged girl with a crush, and my little friend Aquila died! :(

Aquila was a leopard gecko that I bought when I was 10. He did live to be 6 1/2, but I'm still feeling kinda down about him dying :( Yesterday, I put him in an old Converse shoebox and sent him down the North Saskatchewan River. It was a really nice lizard funeral and watching him drift away was just so peaceful.. (besides, the ground is cold and digging a hole is hard)

Anyways, I was tagged by the lovely Paulina to do this nice little "Seven Facts about myself" meme. Here we go!

MORE THAN YOU PROBABLY EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT ME

#1. I love, love, love, LOVE music. I'm really into "indie" music, mostly folk rock, crazy experimental stuff, psychadelic folk punk, and lo-fi folk pop. Heh. My favorite artists are Neutral Milk Hotel, The Velvet Underground, Jacob Borshard, A Drum and an Open Window, Xiu Xiu, and the Microphones.

Lately, I've been obsessed with this song by Margot and the Nuclear So and So's:

#2. On the subject of music... I play guitar! Both electric and acoustic. I've actually recorded a bunch of songs and a few of them are up on the internet...but I'll keep that secret & seperate from this blog, for the time being. hehe.

#3. I don't watch much TV usually, but we got an elliptical trainer a few weeks ago. Now, I get to watch random shows when I'm working out. And BY FAR, my very favorite show is The Office. It's so funny!

Dwight Schrute is my hero :)

#4. I've got a brother and two sisters, all younger than me. We're a big, happy family.

#5. I used to be a really quiet person, but ever since I started high school I'm different. Now, I have an amazing group of friends that love me for who I am, so I say things without thinking a lot of the time. That's not necessarily a good thing, but it just shows how comfortable and happy I am with these people, more than I have with any other friends I've had.

#6. Ever since I went to San Francisco for those 3 days in August, I've been DYING to go back. :) It's now my very favorite place in the whole world. I guess I haven't travelled all that much (I've been to SF, some of Hawaii, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City, most of Alberta & BC) but I know that I've fallen in love with San Francisco.

#7. I made a note on Facebook that was a list of movies I want to see, and now my friends are lending me movies all over the place. How sweet! I watched Donnie Darko last night; whoaaaa that was such a cool movie. Weird, definitely, but that's what I like.

So.. I tag anyone who has seen Donnie Darko and who wants to do these Seven Things!

Dwight is the man. I just ordered a sweet Dwight Schrute for President shirt from www.PantherTees.com. They have tons of stuff from The Office. They said not to tell anyone, but here is a 10% discount code, pts10 (it is case sensitive, so copy and paste it). Enjoy!

Hi, I'm new to your blog. Sorry about Aquila! That's really sad. I don't know what I would do if my pet Bella died! Anyway I just wanted to say that I was reading some older posts of yours and all of the food you make looks so tasty! Thanks for posting. I'm a vegetarian now but considering going vegan. I'm sixteen. Oh and I had a question as well. In one post you had cute little cut outs of some type of food or herb on your zucchini. what was it? it looked really good. thanks for posting your stuff!

:) thanks! it was indeed a nice nap.

Ashley- Thank you so much for the kind comments! Good luck on your path to veganism :)
The little cut outs are pieces of nori seaweed, and I made them using little paper punches from a craft store!

Great list! I'm sorry about your lizard. It's tough when a pet dies. You gave him a great send off.

Generic Viagra (sildenafil citrate; brand names include: Aphrodil / Edegra / Erasmo / Penegra / Revatio / Supra / Zwagra) is an effective treatment for erectile dysfunction regardless of the cause or duration of the problem or the age of the patient.
Sildenafil Citrate is the active ingredient used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in men. It can help men who have erectile dysfunction get and sustain an erection when they are sexually excited.
Generic Viagra is manufactured in accordance with World Health Organization standards and guidelines (WHO-GMP). Also you can find on our sites.
Generic Viagra is made with thorough reverse engineering for the sildenafil citrate molecule - a totally different process of making sildenafil and its reaction. That is why it takes effect in 15 minutes compared to other drugs which take 30-40 minutes to take effect.

Even in the most sexually liberated and self-satisfied of nations, many people still yearn to burn more, to feel ready for bedding no matter what the clock says and to desire their partner of 23 years as much as they did when their love was brand new.
The market is saturated with books on how to revive a flagging libido or spice up monotonous sex, and sex therapists say “lack of desire” is one of the most common complaints they hear from patients, particularly women.
